Homeopathy for Anemia
What is Anemia?
Lack of healthy red blood cells or hemoglobin causes anemia.
Hemoglobin is an iron-rich protein that imparts to blood its natural red color. It acts as a carrier of oxygen-rich blood collected from the lungs throughout the body and brings back impure blood containing CO2 back to the lungs for purification.
Anemia itself is not a disease rather an indication of an underlying medical condition manifesting as an anemic condition.
When the concentration of hemoglobin or healthy red blood cells becomes low, there is a reduced concentration of oxygen reaching the body, nerves, and tissues- a person may feel anemic.

Why Homeopathy Is One of the Best Natural Remedies for Anemia
An anemic condition and its associated symptoms affect an individual on all levels mental, physical and soul.
In time, this may appear as an inherent demotivation to perform usual activities which previously excited them. Ultimately, they start losing their zest in life.
Pharmaceutical drugs may themselves induce anemia, so taking them for a temporary relief now may attract various other side effects in the future.
Homeopathic remedies which are all natural, safe and non-addictive are free from any side effects.
Further, the homeopathic remedies through their inherent principle trigger the natural making of hemoglobin.
Under proper guidance of a homeopath, you will slowly start seeing a change in energy levels with the corresponding improvement in symptoms.
Also, a homeopath will guide you through a proper diet rich in iron, folates or B12, exercise or lifestyle change as your individual condition may require.
A personalized consultation will enable the homeopath to set the right prescription such that a patient starts feeling relief from inside without disrupting or suppressing the normal body processes.
As I said above, anemia itself is not a cause of concern. Here, I have listed some probable sources which we try to locate during the consultation session to reach a consensus on how to set the effective prescription.
This is a general list. Many times I have also seen seemingly unlinked patterns which only become clear during individual consultation.
Kinds of Anemia
Deficiency of iron: In larger bones, bone marrow with the help of iron prepares hemoglobin. When there is a deficiency of iron, it is not able to produce hemoglobin in adequate amounts causing anemia.
Low iron content may be due to poor diet, childbirth, ulcer, cancer or by the use of some over the counter drugs.
Megaloblastic Anemia
Deficiency of b12 or folic acid causes megaloblastic anemia.
Thalassemia
Thalassemia results when hemoglobin production is impaired as a result of heredity.
Hemolytic Anemia
Caused when red blood cells are destroyed due to certain diseases such as malaria or production of abnormal red blood cells as in sickle anemia.
Pernicious anemia
Caused due to an autoimmune disorder where your body is unable to absorb vitamin B12 properly.
